I used the same products as in the previous tutorial with the addition of Precision's Base/Top Coat and white soak-off gel polish (available from Planet Nails).

The instructions below are very vague so I recommend that you read my previous tutorial (which is very in-depth) if you are new to gel polish.
STEP 1 Push back cuticles, lightly buff nails and apply nail prep.
STEP 2 Apply a coat of Precision Base/Top Coat and cure under a UV light for 2 minutes (or 30 seconds under an LED light).
STEP 3 Apply a white Precision gel polish to the tips of your fingernails. This is where a steady hand is very beneficial. Cure under a UV light for 2 minutes (or 30 seconds under an LED light).
STEP 4 Either apply another layer of the Precision Base/Top Coat and cure or apply Ezee gel polish in a light pink or nude shade like I did and cure under a UV light for 2 minutes (or 30 seconds under an LED light). I applied another layer of the pink polish and cured it again.
STEP 5 Wipe nails with finishing liquid.
STEP 6 Admire your "handy" work!
I think I'll buy a new pair of shoes with the money I just saved not going to the salon to get my nails done!

Great job! Looks very pretty :)
ReplyDeletewhat are the exact color names used for this manicure? so nice...
ReplyDeleteI started with Precision's Soak-Off Gel Polish Base Coat/Top Coat, then used a white polish from the same brand (I think the code is 017 but I'm not sure, it's the only white in that brand though), topped that with a coat of Ezee Soak-Off in 105 (it's a nude colour) then applied another layer of the Base Coat/Top Coat. Thanks for your comment!
